The Owner - Jack’s Story

Jack comes from the South of Wales, close to the beautiful Brecon Beacons. His love for the outdoors and path to instruction was first fuelled by volunteerng at the local dry ski slope and working in an outdoor centre. Soon, outdoor instruction led to a full-time profession and a career now spanning countless days in the hills and on the rock. Jack has spent the last 12 years specialising in climbing, scrambling and hill walking instruction in the UK and abroad. Along the way he earned the Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor qualification and founded his business, Inspired Guides. His comprehensive climbing and mountaineering experience extends from in his local Welsh hills in Eryri to the Scottish Highlands and many technical alpine feats in Europe and overseas. Currently, he is training on the British Mountain Guide Scheme (BMG) to qualify as an International Mountain Guide, allowing him to share his passion of the outdoors worldwide with the highest possible technical expertise. His aim is to identify clients' skills and personal goals, and to provide engaging and educational environments to achieve these safely and confidently.
